Air conditioning is standard on all Soul 2u models and the Soul 4u
Burner and Luxury models add the set-and-forget comfort of automatic
climate control.
UVO - short for "your voice" - is Kia's remarkable new voice-activated
system that lets you control your music and enjoy hands-free use of your
cell phone. UVO's next generation voice recognition software "learns"
your voice commands and stores up to two individual voice profiles in
the system. It also includes a digital jukebox with in-dash memory to
store your favourite songs. UVO is available on Soul 4u Automatic, 4u
Retro and 4u Burner models.
Mood lamp speakers bring a club-like ambience to the interior
environment of Soul 4u models*. Adjust the brightness and sensitivity to
match your mood and music.
Performance
Getting around town or cruising on the highway is a delight with Soul. If fuel economy is at the top of your wish list, Soul has a 1.6-litre, 4-cylinder engine that delivers exactly what you need. And if you like to get away from the city and take a lot of stuff with you, you can move up to a 2.0-litre engine with just the right blend of power and efficiency.
Soul 2u and 4u models are powered by a quiet and fuel-efficient 142-horsepower, 2.0-litre engine featuring Kia's performance-enhancing continuously variable valve timing (CVVT) technology.
For smooth-shifting performance in all kinds of driving situations,
Soul's 2.0-litre engine is available with an electronically controlled
4-speed automatic transmission.
Dynamic handling makes Soul so much fun to drive. Soul 4u models add to that fun with standard sport-tuned suspension to keep their road-gripping 18" tires firmly planted.
